Cape Town is a paradise all of its own. Boasting some of the World's most spectacular beaches, the Mother City is also home to some amazing surfing opportunities and a society that moves very much to its own beat. At the centre of Cape Town's developing community is the Ticket to Ride Foundation that cares for the kids of Kolobe St. As a volunteer you will be intimately involved in the lives of the kids from the coastal township of Masiphumalele and will become a member of team that aims to get the kids away from the streets of the township and out into the natural wonders of the Cape Peninsula that sits right on their doorstep.

When you're not out and about in the Townships, you'll be off around the Cape searching for world class waves with one of our top surf coaches. Tim moved to Cape Town to establish the Foundation and has been throwing himself into the cape waves for many years. With his intimate knowledge of the Cape Town surf scene, and his years of coaching experience on our Gap and Career Break trips, not to mention several years spent coaching in his native UK, ensures you'll be in good hands.
